A few pieces now and then won't hurt. It shouldn't be your cat's main food, though. Cats and dogs need different things from their food, and our kibble is formulated for adult dogs.
Why can't my cat live on it?
A cat needs more protein than a dog, and some nutrients at levels a dog food isn't designed to provide. A kibble made for dogs won't cover everything a cat needs. Fed as a cat's main meal over weeks or months, it would leave gaps.
My cat keeps eating from the dog's bowl
A few things make it easier to stop:
Feed them in separate rooms, or put the cat's bowl up high where the dog can't reach it.
Lift the dog's bowl once they've finished eating, so there's nothing left to graze on.
Stick to set mealtimes for both, instead of leaving food out all day.
My cat has food sensitivities too. Is there a cat version?
No, our kibble is only for dogs. Your vet can recommend a cat food that suits your cat's sensitivity.
If your cat has a known food allergy, check with your vet before letting them have any of the dog's kibble, even as a nibble.
My cat has eaten a lot of it
If your cat has eaten a large amount, or seems unwell afterwards, call your vet.
