Ring a vet now, not later, if you see any of these
Swelling around the face, muzzle or eyes
Difficulty breathing, or noisy breathing
Collapse, sudden weakness, or your dog is unresponsive
Repeated vomiting, or vomiting with blood
Hives or welts coming up across the body
These need a vet the same day. Out of hours, ring your nearest emergency clinic. These symptoms are unlikely to have been caused by the food so look for other potential causes.
For a milder reaction
Loose stools, a bit of wind, or a dog who seems off during a food change are common and usually settle. Stop the changeover, go back to their previous food, and give your vet a call if it doesn't improve within a day or two, or if it gets worse.
