Yes. The protein in our kibble is chicken, and it's the only animal protein in there. It's hydrolysed, which means broken into pieces too small for your dog's body to recognise.
Where does chicken appear in the ingredients?
In four places, all of them the same protein in different forms: chicken polypeptide meal, enzymatically hydrolysed chicken pulp, hydrolysed chicken meal, and chicken fat.
That's why we describe it as a single hydrolysed protein food. Your dog is meeting one protein, not several.
My dog reacts to chicken. Can they eat this?
Check with your vet before you order if you're worried.
Hydrolysing the protein is meant to get past the recognition that causes a reaction. It isn't a guarantee for a dog with a diagnosed chicken allergy, and your vet knows your dog's history.
If your vet has your dog on a veterinary diet that's working, stay on it and raise any change with them first.

Peas, sweet potato and tapioca for the carbohydrate, salmon oil and flaxseed for the omega fats, and functional superfoods including blueberry, carrot, dried apple and cauliflower.
