Little Green Dog is a New Zealand company. The kibble itself is made to our specification at a manufacturing facility in China, then shipped here and stored in our Auckland warehouse.
Why not made in New Zealand?
We designed the recipe and we set the specification. We don't own a factory, so the food is made by a manufacturer who does.
We control what goes into the food and what stays out of it, and we test it before it reaches you.
What sort of facility is it?
It's an FDA registered facility holding GMP, ISO, BRC and HACCP certification, and it makes our kibble to AAFCO nutritional standards.
Is the food tested?
Yes, by an independent laboratory, across 73 nutritional, chemical and safety factors.
